hello i’m alex
I’m not a Human Design influencer. I’m a Master Certified Coach with an MSc in Leadership + Strategy, two decades inside corporate leadership and one in entrepreneurship. I know real decisions.
I’ve also lived things that don’t fit in a bio. I’ve had cancer and IVF, and through both I made the sort of decisions that were literally life or death; for me and my potential baby (she’s just turned 18, if you’re wondering). So when I read your design, I’m not reading theory. I’m reading a person who’s experiencing things they might not need to; doing things the hard way, raging against the machine, self sabotaging.
Here’s what I believe: the Human Design industry sells more theory than application, which is weird, and fuels the sceptic in me. My simple difference is I use the whole picture and I show you to use it yourself.
i created the design brief by ACCIDENT
I ran a workshop at Laura Belgray’s infamous Shrimp Club retreat. I called it ‘Where your words come from’ it was delivered to a group of writers so felt pretty apt. Afterwards, in mid conversation when asked about Human Design (ok, whilst folk were begging me to do theirs) I talked about The Brief like it was my signature offer. Up until that point it hadn’t existed.
I’m a 6/3, of course I wing it. But this was different. This was exactly how I saw my brand of Human design getting out into the world. Call me old fashioned, but I like having the info in my hand. I love to read and see how the methodology can be applied to my life, business, branding. But we’re all different, so I knew there was a way to show someone their capabilities without all the bullsh*t.
